Harvard Referencing Guide

A particularly useful web reference on the Harvard referencing system is at http://www.lib.monash.edu.au/tutorials/citing/harvard.html and since many of the ACS Education courses' references are online resources, the link http://library.uws.edu.au/FILES/cite_Harvard.pdf is very relevant. This one provides examples for a wide range of source materials.

Another excellent guide is from the University of Wollongong, listing the types of materials you would want to reference in a matrix, with rules and examplesfor both in-text citations and reference items. It can be found at: http://www.library.uow.edu.au/referencing/citeharvard_ed2_dec07.pdf

An example of Harvard notation used in a paper is at http://www.flinders.edu.au/shadomx/apps/fms/fmsdownload.cfm?file_uuid=A64F81E8-9BDF-22A4-82CA-0653D0C35F81&siteName=flinders .

Swinburne University of Technology has a useful booklet which we commend to you available online at http://www.swinburne.edu.au/lib/guides/harvard_system.pdf
